Fabric Care Instructions
FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS
NATURAL FABRICS - For the best results, we recommend washing all natural fabrics printed with the digital printing process gently in cool water with a gentle detergent that must contain NO phosphates. Do not scrub or rub fabrics, as the pigment becomes fragile when wet and has a tendency to come off. Some fading as a result of cleaning is normal for digital printing on natural fabrics. Fading can be especially visible in dark, deep colours. This is minimised through the use of cool hand wash and phosphate-free detergent. If using a washing machine, be aware the fabric might fade along the fabric creases easily due to strong tumbling action during washing.
SPECIAL NOTE - Fabrics prepared for digital printing are processed with special chemicals to allow the printed colours to be vibrant and have a higher saturation. These fabric treatments may cause yellowing when exposed to direct sunlight or some light spectrum. Hence it is recommended to keep it shielded from such light sources until the first wash. The fabric should be washed before use.
Do not spill water on unwashed fabric - as that may lead to yellowing of that section of the fabric - this is due to the finishing process carried out on the fabric. Hence - it is recommended that the fabric be washed before first use. Digitally printed natural fabrics should be hung to dry. Ironing - we recommend you iron on the unprinted side of the fabric.
SHRINKAGE - Some shrinkage may occur during the production and aftercare, shrinkage might be anywhere between 2% - 11% (usually less than 5%).
